JONI is the story of a military AI which demonstrates independent, lateral and emotional thinking while on a highly sensitive mission in Bolivia. It's programmers, Dr and Jessie Larsen need to buy time in order to ascertain what is happening in the unit before the powers in the military industrial complex that surrounds them choose to investigate further.

However, little do they know that forces within the walls around them are already operating secretly against them. Sabotage, espionage, action and adventure ensue as the JONI unit, it's operators and allies are thrown into a chaotic game of cat and mouse on the streets of Western United States.

When the top echelons of military power are against you, who do you find to help you? And how fast can you find it? And how do you hide a 20ft mech in the process?

The brand new team featuring Craig Connolly (writer) and Eros Lima de Nardi (Colourist) lend their fresh talents as old-hand Steve Penfold keeps his role as artist to bring this story of new life forging it's place in a world that makes little sense to life.
